Services to abused, abandoned, neglected, orphaned and vulnerable children
"In every day there are 1 440 minutes .... that means we have 1440 daily opportunities to make a positive impact"
We over estimate what we can achieve in 1 year and underestimate what we can achieve in 5 years ....
Changing the way NGO's do business. Meet our BNI Modjadji Business Partners
3 500 babies are abandoned in South Africa per year. Already vulnerable by birth, our babies then face uncertainty until we are able to find them safe and loving arms to protect them.
Each box costs R850 and we would like 20 boxes.
In these crisis situations we depend on ordinary people supporting us in extra ordinary circumstances.
We want to provide our abandoned babies with their 1st box filled with everything they need to be cared for, an opportunity of hope and a special letter of love.

Our Annual Golf Day Fundraising event is always a great opportunity to connect and network with our valued circle of support.
On 13 March 2025 we hosted our Annual Fundraiser for the 2024/2025 Financial Year at Modderfontein Golf Club and despite the bouts of rain and wind we were able to still enjoy a wonderful day of Golfing and entertainment.
As always there was much excitement on the day with our teams, sponsors and supporters out in full force at the Modderfontein Golf Club!
We remain grateful for each participant that made the day a huge success and thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for the unending support and generosity - we raised R134 000 to continue our services towards our children.
A special shoutout to all our Board Members, organisers and sponsors for your efforts to make this event such a huge success.
If you missed out on the fun in March or would like to take part at our next Golf Day - please contact us as our next Golf Day is scheduled for 18 September 2025, once again at Modderfontein Golf Club.
Contact us for more information on info@childwelfaregermiston.org.za or send a message to 082 804 8376 for any enquiries.
Look forward to seeing you there!!!!!!!!

Hello, my name is Melissa. I’m 9 years old. I love painting, swimming, pretty dresses and making cupcakes with my Mommy.
"A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in or the kind of car I drove ... but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child" Forest E Witcraft (Teacher)
"This is the home I got as from early childhood. I'm fully grown today because of their support. I'm working now as a call centre agent. My hope is one day giving back ... Helping kids who are going through what I went through"
I don't know whether or not you still remember me. Thanks to your support and assistance I became a student at Reunert College in 2015. I was reflecting and contemplating on what Child Welfare Germiston did for me and on how patient you were with my case. I'm truly grateful and a million "thank you's" will never be enough. I am a biomedical engineering student at the University of Witwatersrand and everything is going well ...
We have been your clients since the year 2000 as foster parents. Three of our foster children are now adults and your professional service and support helped us and them to be responsible adults. We want to thank Child Welfare Germiston from the bottom of our hearts for everything you did for us. May God bless you and give you strength.
