In celebration of our Centenary year (2012) we hosted a Xmas Party for 500 of our children in foster care.  Since then this celebration has become a bi-annual event supported by individuals, social groups and corporates – a day outdoors with some of our beneficiaries.

Our next Children’s Xmas Party will only be hosted in 2021 with a preliminary date of Saturday 27 November 2021.

This day is all about fun, laughter and allowing children who we work with throughout the year to just be spoilt with joys they may not otherwise experience, such as jumping castles, water slides, games and all kinds of activities.

Each child attending this huge party receives a goodie bag filled with lots of treats.  Game and activity stalls are set up throughout the venue.  Children participate in face painting, arts and crafts, play cricket, soccer and just enjoy the Ferris Wheel or water slides and jumping castles.  At each stall they receive a small prize for participating.

Sponsored snacks, fruit, colddrink, lunch and goodies fill their bags very quickly and at the end of the day as they leave to go back home, Father Xmas comes to greet them and give them a stationary pack for school the following year. 

Amazing donors make this day the highlight of our year – not only for the children but certainly also for the adults who share in the fun and laughter – hard work definitely but worth every second thereof.
